Now in the second year of his degree, 19-year-old Jack from Whitchurch, said: “I am very pleased to be awarded the McConnel Prize for my work during my first year at Harper Adams.
“It is great that the university recognises the efforts of first year students and I hope that this will show potential placement employers that I am someone who has a good work ethic and strives to attain good results.
“The award has certainly encouraged me to continue to work hard during the rest of my degree.”
The prize is open to all first year students on Agri-Food Marketing with Business Studies, Agri-Business, and Business Management with Marketing courses at the university in Shropshire.
